FAQ
- What happens to transparency when converting to JPG?
- JPG has no transparency channel, so any transparent area is filled with the background color you choose (white by default) before saving.
- Does quality affect PNG or BMP?
- No — the quality slider only applies to JPG, WebP, and HEIC, which support adjustable lossy compression. PNG and BMP are always saved at full quality.
- Can I convert HEIC photos from my iPhone?
- Yes — upload a .heic file directly and convert it to JPG, PNG, or any other supported format. You can also convert the other way, into HEIC, if you need a smaller file for a device that supports it.
