How it works

Upload an image under 1000px on its longer side, choose 2× or 4×, and process. The AI model runs over the image in tiles and blends them back together, which is why it takes noticeably longer than a simple resize. Files are deleted from our servers automatically after one hour.

FAQ

Why is there a size limit on the input image?: The AI model processes the image in small tiles, and larger images need many more tiles — capping the input keeps processing time reasonable instead of a job running for many minutes.
How is this different from just resizing up?: A normal resize stretches existing pixels, which looks soft or blocky at large enlargements. This uses a super-resolution model trained to reconstruct plausible detail, so edges and textures stay sharper.
Why does this take longer than other image tools?: AI upscaling runs a neural network over the image tile by tile, which is far more compute-intensive than a simple resize — expect it to take significantly longer, especially at 4×.
