How it works
Upload a PDF and mark the region on the page where an identifying value (like an invoice number) appears. We read that region on every page and start a new output file each time the value changes, grouping consecutive pages that share the same value. Files are deleted from our servers automatically after one hour.
FAQ
- What's this useful for?
- A bulk PDF containing many invoices, statements, or forms back-to-back, where each one has an identifying number somewhere on the page — this splits them apart automatically at every point that number changes.
- How do I set the region correctly?
- Enter the position and size (as a percentage of the page) around where the identifying text sits, then use "Preview what this region reads" to check it captured the right value before splitting the whole document.
- What are the output files named?
- Each file is named after the text found in that region for its pages — falling back to a generic "part" name if no text was found there.
