FAQ
- What's this useful for?
- Scanning an open book or a two-page spread often produces one wide page with two book pages on it. This splits each of those into two separate, correctly-sized pages.
- What's the difference between the two directions?
- "Down the middle" splits into a left half and a right half — the common case for book spreads. "Across the middle" splits into a top half and a bottom half instead.
- Does this affect normal single-page documents?
- It splits every page the same way regardless of content, so only use it on documents where every page really is a combined spread.
